Easy Money With Swagbucks

I don’t know anyone who doesn’t want to make a little extra money. This morning I got our hotel for a road trip we are taking for free thanks to Swagbucks! If you aren’t familiar with this site you need to be. Swagbucks is partnered with a ton of major retailers when you activate Swagbucks during your shopping session you receive “Swagbucks”.

What are Swagbucks?

Swagbucks are like points that can be used to purchase gift cards for popular retailers. I use them to get Amazon gift cards, American Eagle, Old Navy, The Children’s Place, Cabela’s, and so many more places. Use them for movie or restaurant cards and have a free date night! A recent addition to the gift cards is Pay Pal. This is so exciting to me because your Swagbucks are turned into cash that is deposited to the Paypal account that has the same email address as your Swagbucks account. So you can use Swagbucks for straight cash!

How Does Swagbucks Really Work?

Here is how Swagbucks works. First, create an account and make sure you use the same email address that you used with your Paypal account or you can open a new Paypal account to go along with your Swagbucks account. After you sign up and verify your email, download the Swag Button that will appear at the top of your navigation bar on your desktop. Now when you are on a retailers website that works with Swagbucks the button will notify you to activate Swagbucks. Once you click “Activate” it will open a new tab with the activated website. Now when you purchase anything from the retailer Swagbucks will be added to your Swagbucks account. For example, I bought new running shoes last night from Asics. The shoes were on sale for $70 and I received 1 Swagbuck per dollar spent. The amount of Swagbucks you earn is different for every retailer, but every little bit helps. Now, how do Swagbucks translate into dollars? Well, my 55 Swagbucks, or SB, translates into $0.55. I know this doesn’t seem like much but honestly, they are connected to so many retailers that it adds up quickly. I like to save the points to get gift cards to help pay for Christmas and birthday gifts or help cut the cost of a trip.

Honestly, this is one way that I have been cutting off little expenses here and there for years and Swagbucks has only grown and gotten better over that time. I was so excited about paying for my hotel room and getting more point AND awesome shoes that were on sale that I had to share with all of you.

Go check out Swagbucks here and sign up to start getting money back from your purchases! And yes, the Swagbucks link is a referral code that you too will get when you sign up so that you get extra points for when your friends, family and/or followers sign up as well. Happy earning!
